Untethered Healthcare

Untethered Healthcare  is a blog dedicated to exploring the intersection of mHealth, medical decision support and design thinking. My name is Craig Brandis. I am an R&D executive with a background in mobile healthcare applications and systems, next gen diagnostics and algorithms, and patient monitoring.  The larger challenges in healthcare will need more than new systems and applications. Fundamental changes in the process of innovation are needed, particularly in opening up collaborative models of research and development, along with radically reducing the time and investment to bring new solutions to market. I believe both of these goals are doable and this blog is an effort to highlight successes in these areas and discuss how those learnings can be adapted to improve processes in product development, care delivery and personal healthcare.
